|Additional Position Information: * Represents Location Pay for full-time appointees. Hours of work: 9AM-5PM; Days of week: M-F; Hours per week: 37.5|
Brief Description of Duties:
Responsible for marketing and recruitment of students for the School of Public Health through advertising materials, career fairs, social media, etc. SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE: Development of the annual or bi-annual newsletter Development of marketing materials such as the View-book and brochures for MD/MPH students. Work collaboratively with Marketing Committee in the SPH and Center wide initiatives. Maintenance of the School of Public Health Facebook page, twitter account, linked-in page and other social media accounts. Research and keep abreast of all potential student venues for potential applicants. Attendance at undergraduate, graduate and career fairs throughout the Metropolitan Area. Work collaboratively with Assistant Dean for Enrollment and Student Affairs and the Office of Admissions to market the School of public Health. Maintain contact lists of marketing targets including feeder schools, career websites, local employers, hospitals, etc. Maintain current list of marketing and recruitment efforts. Provide support for Administration and faculty. Assist other staff members with operational duties to maintain the efficient running of the School of Public Health.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: Bachelorís degree. Good command of English language, written and verbal. Experience in marketing or recruitment for an academic institution. PREFERRED: Masterís degree. Working knowledge of Creole and/or Spanish a plus.
